Denali State Park Viewpoint

Mt. McKinley from the Parks
Highway is far enough away so that your view is not obstructed by the
surrounding mountains. The State
has set up this turnout so that travelers can photograph the mountain safely.
A sod roof bulletin board contains information about the mountains and
helps identify the names of the mountains and ice fields one can see from the
viewpoint.
The turnout is on the left side when headed north on the
Parks Highway. It is located at about mile marker 135 just before
Troublesome Creek State Campground.
There are toilets at this turnout.
